Privacy Policy

Your diary stays on your device

Pet profiles, selected photos, medication schedules, recorded doses, observations and notes are stored in the app's local database. Version 2.0 has no sign-in, app cloud synchronization, advertising, analytics or AI service. We do not receive these diary records through the app.

Your device's backup provider may include app data according to your device settings. The app does not control that provider. If you export a backup or share a PDF, you choose the destination through system tools. Those exported files contain the records you selected, and backups include photos and any imported legacy records. Keep them in a location you trust.

Photos and notifications

The app accesses photos when you choose one for a pet or observation. It stores a resized copy locally. Optional reminder notifications are scheduled on your device. The app does not access your location, use a camera for AI scans, or upload photos for analysis.

Purchases

Optional iOS purchases and restoration are handled by Apple. The app checks signed purchase entitlements and caches access status on the device. We do not receive payment card details. Purchasing and restoring require the App Store and are subject to Apple's services and privacy practices.

Deletion and moving devices

You can delete an individual pet and their records or delete the full diary from Settings. Uninstalling may remove local app data. Export a backup before changing devices or uninstalling if you want to retain the diary. In-app deletion does not erase files you already exported or backups held by your device backup provider.

Earlier app versions and support

Versions before 2.0 used cloud accounts and services. Installing 2.0 does not automatically migrate or delete those older accounts and records. Contact pawspulseapp@gmail.com for help with an old account, a data export or a deletion request. Emails you send to support are handled through the support email provider; include only information necessary to resolve your request.

Existing subscriptions are managed through your app store. Deleting the app or diary does not cancel them.
